RND pixels
new with firmware 1.4
RND synth opens up to RND pixels, its visual companion.
12 generative visuals move with its midi notes and its sound.
control RND synth’s tempo, levels and reverb, choose the patch type, the scale, the tonic, the number of active tracks and the engines.
save and share your musical ideas using seeds.
6 usb audio channels
RND synth now sends 6 usb audio channels instead of 4.
channels 1 and 2: the stereo master, post panning and post reverb, the same as the jack output.
channels 3 to 6: the four tracks, one per channel, dry and mono.
stereo mix,
with reverb
the four tracks,
dry and mono
Patch types
choose the type of patch with midi cc 14, on channel 1. your choice stays when you press the button for a new patch.

1 = looping sequences
2 = drones
3 = jingles

Saved, even unplugged
all midi cc and parameter values are kept through patches, when you press the button.
the sound is kept through power cycles: unplug RND synth and plug it back in, it sounds the same, with the same patch and the same cc values. only master volume and master reverb are not kept.
worth remembering:
to go back to random values, hold the button down while powering RND synth on.
And a few other things
- portamento probability, in the internal sequencers
- note hold probability, in the internal sequencers
- compatible with a 44.1 kHz sampling rate (set it in your daw)
